I really love the laid-back, flexible environment. Everyone is comfortable here and you can feel that on a day to day basis. Everyone is empowered to find solutions to problems, so you really can make a difference in the projects you work on. Everyone has your back too, which is fantastic. When a tough challenge pops up, knowing everyone around you is there to help is great.
PiF feels like it has a personality. It’s not stuffy or uptight. We’re a unique group, and the personalities of the individual people who make up PiF really shine through. Everyone brings something new to the teams they’re a part of, and everyone is able to contribute to solving problems.
Definitely look into it. Most of us have been here for a long time, and along the way we’re learning new things, encountering new challenges, and expanding in to new areas with our products and services. There’s always something new going on, and new opportunities are popping up all the time as the company grows and changes. It’s an exciting environment to work.
In Professional Services it’s definitely the new puzzles that each project brings. Whenever we hit a challenge it’s less like a road block and more like a puzzle to solve. Every project is different, and each one comes with new challenges. It’s hard to get bored when you have a job like that.
What I enjoy most about PiF is the varied responsibilities. I have a wide range of tasks I perform, both hands on with repairs and logistics, and assisting our customers remotely to resolve their printing issues.
I would say it is the ability for each employee to make an impact on a day to day basis.
This is a company that values your input, and has opportunity for growth.
Knowing that my contributions are shaping the form my department will take moving forward. That, and knowing that I have many irons in the fire, and that each one provides the possibility of finishing with that “job well done” feeling.
