Paid Tech Sales Internship - Field Sales & Inside Sales

PiF Technologies is looking for a class of current college rising Seniors to join our 10 Week Internship Program (June 5 - August 11).

In this Summer Sales Bootcamp program, you and your peers will work alongside a team of seasoned sales pros who sell Office Automation Solutions including Document Capture & Document Management, Electronic Forms, and Advanced Workflow Automation software that includes Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation technologies. Most importantly you will get the valuable sales training and experience you need to build your career post-graduation. 

Due to the nature of the sales intern training program, this role is 100% office-based in Hooksett, NH.

Sales Boot Camp

  • Cold Calling 101 – techniques on cold calling; both in-person with commercial businesses in our local territory as well as over the phone. Learn how to “Sell the Appointment” not the Product as a first step in the sales process. 
  • Become an expert in the PiF “elevator pitch” and learn to educate prospects on how you can help companies save money, time, become more efficient, and enjoy a great customer experience. 
  • Handling Objections – how to handle objections in person and over the phone with ease. Role plays in a team environment and perfect your “quick to the draw” responses.
  • An added bonus: during your program, you will participate in sales contests to earn extra money: most cold calls per day, most appointments set per week, most closed deals, etc.

Following Sales Training, you will:

  • Be assigned a Sales Mentor and you’ll dive right into field cold calls with your mentor in their local territory through shadowing their canvassing activities. Spend an equal amount of time inside the office in a Sales Development Role making outreach phone calls on our software solutions. 
  • Work closely with our Marketing team to understand the “ideal” prospect and learn the tools required to build effective prospect lists such as ZoomInfo and LinkedIn.
  • Create your own email content with the support of Marketing to understand how to engage prospects over email and effectively manage a follow-up strategy. 
  • Focus on hitting your weekly appointment-setting goals.

You Have

  • The credits and courses to qualify as a college Senior (completed your Junior year).
  • Experience through work, courseload, or previous internships in sales, marketing, retail, or other related fields
  • Strong technical abilities with Google Apps, Microsoft, and Social Media – and are quick to learn new software
  • A natural ability to communicate, a “make it happen” mentality, and a self-starting attitude
  • Must be within daily commuting distance of Hooksett, NH to join us in-office Monday – Thursday.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $17/hour base pay + commissions for meetings and deals 
  • Mon-Thu 8:00am-5:00pm, Friday’s Off! (32-hour work week)
  • Casual dress code, after-work socials, and a focus on work-life balance 
  • Successful candidates may be provided the opportunity to work part-time during their college year and/or a full-time position upon graduation.
